“A butterfly flaps its wings in the Amazonian jungle, and subsequently a storm ravages half of Europe”
Whether this is true or not, who cares, the principle is beautiful.
If you were to do one small deed today to help someone or yourself, do you think you could change the world? You would at least make that individual’s day better, isn’t that enough?
Let me ask you a different question. If you could go back in time and change one small thing, how could that change affect how you are today?
Most people will answer the first question with a sensible reservation of doubt, how could one small act change the world?
But when you realise how the rippling cascade of cause and effect can spread throughout society, maybe your perspective will change.
Watch your actions and make sure you are progressing yourself and those around you.
Take small steps ferociously towards your goal. Every positive you choose to act upon will make the world a slightly better place, and if you persist in positive actions, you will change the world for the better.
For one day, you will look back and realise that the small things weren’t so small after all.
